There is one Gospel on which I stand

For all eternity

It is my story, my Father’s plan
zhè shì wǒ jīng lì tiān fù zhǐ yì

The Son has rescued me
ài zǐ jiù wǒ chéng quán
爱子救我成全
Oh what a Gospel, Oh what a peace
wō qí miào fú yīn cì wǒ píng ān

My highest joy and my deepest need

Now and forever He is my light

There is one Gospel to which I cling
yǒu yí gè fú yīn wǒ yào shēn xìn
有一个福音，我要深信
All else I count as loss
wàn wù dàng zuò yǒu sǔn
万物当作有损
For there, where justice and mercy meet
cí ài yǔ gōng yì shí jià xiāng qīn
慈爱与公义，十架相亲
He saved me on the cross
tā sǐ jiù wǒ tuō kùn
他死，救我脱困
No more I boast in what I can bring
bú zài zì kuā wǒ duō shǎo shàn gōng
不再自夸我多少善工
No more I carry the weight of sin
bú zài bēi fù wǒ zuì è shēn zhòng
不再背负我罪恶深重
For He has brought me from death to life
zhǔ cì wǒ xīn shēng sǐ wáng tuō lí
主赐我新生，死亡脱离
I stand in the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Verse 3
There is one Gospel where hope is found
yǒu yí gè fú yīn cì xià pàn wàng
有一个福音， 赐下盼望
The empty tomb still speaks
kōng fén mù réng chuán yáng
空坟墓仍传扬
For death could not keep my Saviour down
jiù zhǔ de fù shēng shèng guò sǐ wáng
救主的复生，胜过死亡
He lives and I am free
tā huó wǒ děi shì fàng
他活， 我得释放
Now on my Saviour, I fix my eyes
dìng jīng wǒ jiù zhǔ yē sū jī dū
定睛我救主， 耶稣基督
My life is His and His hope is mine!
tā pàn wàng shǔ wǒ wǒ xīn shǔ zhǔ
他盼望属我，我心属主
For He has promised I, too, will rise

我也必复活， 应许不移
I stand in the Gospel of Jesus Christ

And in this Gospel the church is one
yīn zhè ge fú yīn jiào huì hé yī
因这个福音， 教会合一
We do not walk alone
wǒ men bú zài dú xíng
我们不再独行
We have His Spirit as we press on
kào shèng líng yǐn lǐng bǐ cǐ miǎn lì
靠圣灵引领， 彼此勉励
To lead us safely home
zhí dào huān jù tiān tíng
直到欢聚天庭
And when in glory still I will sing
dào róng yào gù xiāng wǒ réng yào chàng
到荣耀故乡，我仍要唱
Of this old story that rescued me
jiù shú de gù shi wǒ réng chuán yáng
救赎的故事， 我仍传扬
Praise to my Saviour, the King of life
